As we mentioned earlier the current vb4 versions are not designer friendly and the stylevar issues has to be fixed by vB.com in future releases and recently we had some positive note from one of the developer that they will be looking into the issues currently experianced by designers and 4.0.3 version will be the base for redoing the admin side of the stylevar system.

We are glad the developer working on the issues and we can expect lot of improvements done in next few releases 4.0.3, 4.0.4 and 4.0.5 but this will take months from now...

So we planned to provide a premade vB4.0.2 skin for Interim use to clients who had booked us earlier for our Vb4 services and currently we are working on 2 designs for Vb4.0.2 version, one is based on dark color skin and another professional light color design and we are coding them now and it will be available in a week time...

Mock up of the designs is attached in next post for your preview.

So clients who would like to use any one of the premade skin, let us know and we will intimate you once its ready, also we will customize the header/logo part to suit your site + we will create custom icons on forum home...

We are doing this on welfare of our clients and those are eager to upgrade their site to 4.0.2 version, you can use this skins for next 1 or 2 months until we start our skinning service for vB4 and until you have your custom vB4 skin made by us...

We had great expectations same as you, waiting to get our hands on vB4 gold and start our service to custom design skins for clients
like you, but the vB4 gold was a huge disappointment with lot of bugs not ironed out and was not advisable to use in live forums...

Then came the announcement at vB.com that a designer friendly version of 4.0.2 will be released in due course middle of Jan10 and decided to wait until the 4.0.2 is out, but they postponed the release twice and currently its schedule to be somewhere around by next week end...

Actually i am not worried about the postponed release of 4.0.2 version but the fact as far we understand even the 4.0.2 version will not be up to our expectations(info collected from internal reliable sources), i mean bugs free stable version and moreover it will not be a designer friendly version...

We are unable to make a decision or plan when to start our service for vB4 and current situations happening in vB.com seems not much favorable at the moment for designer like us and we are left in dark when vb.com will release a friendly version, whether it would be 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 or 4.0.5

For the above reasons we are not accepting any new jobs for skinning vb4 versions until we find a favorable designer friendly version to be released by vB.com developers...

Also please note after reading the above, do not come to a conclusion that vB4 is not a good software script, what we mean is the current version is not a stable and bug free, coding custom skin for vb4 is nightmare, but once they solve all known bugs and organize the template engine more designer friendly then we are sure vB4 will be the best ever forum script in the market and the most powerful one...

Until then we will continue to work for 3.8x version only...

Anyway, since I decided to purchase Vbseo, and I used your free skins on my previous vb, I remembered that you had an affiliate link on your website. So I came back and clicked on it. I figured it would automatically fill in the "Referred By (affiliate ID) field, but it did not. So I put your name in there (used a s instead of Z). I also added 1075_1_3_17 which was a number I saw in the link So be sure you get credit for my purchase.
